I cut open a Purolator Classic L14610 that was on my Kia and has 5825 miles running Mobil Super 5000 10W30 oil over about 2 years.
Not sure how to interpret the manufacture code. The pleats were tight all the way around except near the crimp. I couldn't see any tears anywhere. The black rubber valve was a little hard and kind of slow to go back to shape but there weren't any cracks. Overall I didn't see anything that concerned me. What do you guys think?
