PS fluid in VW Jetta - Wrong Type?

I work on specs. If a manufacturer supplies written documentation that their product is specified for my intended use than that's good enough for me. If they can't/won't do that then I won't use that product.

I'd have no problem using Amsoil power steering fluid in my Saab because Amsoil specifically recommends it for my Saab in their application guide. It's also cheaper than CHF11S by about $10 per quart.

Well, if I buy it locally it's $28 per liter. If I buy it online it ends up the same due to shipping cost.

So buy some other stuff with it to dilute the shipping cost. No tax (I assume) also helps.

My price was with tax. What else do I need? But thanks for looking out for how I spend my money.
