My wife with our "adopted son" at his Basic Training graduation.
He is the boyfriend of our daughter. Spent more time at our house over the past 2 years than at his own place. Good student in H.S. (JROTC, NHS, Honor Student). We have pretty much accepted him as our own. Wants to marry my Daughter in a few years.

"A" school AIT is 30+ weeks for EOD. After that, he wants to pursue his college degree and go OCS in a few years.

"Dad" has to stay home and work. 3 four legged kids to tend to and I have no alternate at work to cover when I am gone.....

The pink ride is not mine, belongs to the Agency. He would drive it though. My wife, mother inlaw, and my sister have survived breast cancer. My dad survived prostate cancer. D's mom is a survivor also.

Sounds like a good guy!

He sounds like a motivated and stand-up individual with a real plan. I wonder if there's anyone else on this forum who could take his lead...

If you had posted this anywhere else on the internet, people would have asked for your daughter's picture! We are all above that.

She will also graduate HS in June with an Associates degree from a local college. Our county allows Honors/AP students to enroll in a local college during their Junior year.

That's fantastic. I wish that was available when I was in high school.

Yep, that is the wife in the first pic. (She is 48).

You guys are too kind. This is a great board to hang out on.
