I live and work right near Ft. Lee, not sure what EOD is but my understanding is that the only Air Force related work there is logistics related. Heck of a good way to start any career.

He is Army. EOD is Explosive Ordnance Disposal. Defusing bombs basically. He is thinking of changing and going for Combat Engineer (Sapper). Blowing up stuff!
