For those that are following, I've posted up through month 24 on my site. I'm hoping to finish putting everything on it at the body shop this week and take it to the electrician where I can work with him and the upholsterer to finish it before the end of the month. Just click my signature line.

Maybe I've even polished my last piece of stainless trim for a while. This picture has the reflection of the camera and my tile roof.

The car looks great!! I also am the owner of an Orphan..a 1965 Rambler American with a 195.6 C.I. and only 29,000 miles!! Yes...I bought it off a little old lady who sold it because She had hip surgery & could not shift the clutch anymore!

I once rebuilt my brother's 65 rambler wagon after it was hit broadside and the insurance co totaled it. Took several jacks and chains to straighten.

I'll say it again.

A man who can restore a Corvair in Bolivia ought to be president of the country.

I don't qualify. Aside from not having been born here, I would never take or allow a payoff from anyone. This automatically eliminates me.

For those following, I got all the wiring finished and started the car. Set the timing and balanced the carbs. It drives beautifully EXCEPT the flywheel and or pressure plate assembly apparently was not properly balanced by the machine shop, so it has a bad vibration. Only drove it about 4 miles so far.
While we touch the body things and finish the interior I'm waiting on a new flywheel and pressure plate assembly from the US. Once it gets here I'll drop the power train to install them and go for a nice drive.

The electrical came out real well done. Here are a couple of teaser shots.
