Product Data Sheet(s) playing "fast and loose" with approvals, recommendations, etc.?

any variation from the spec will likely disallow it, like 10W30 is rarely recommended + its said ALL approvals on the product cost the product manufacturer $$$

Just our input here - This is definitely a marketing thing and it's to distract people from lack of approvals, etc. Most oils made in Germany have to include the differentiation between Meets Specs and Approvals by law. The same reason you will see anything that is considered a Group III oil marked at HC-Synthetic instead of Fully Synthetic. The only items marked at Full Synthetic will be our Group IV PAO oils. See the artwork on our bottles for example.
