Perhaps different sizes produce different results.

I like how mine ride and react at highway speeds.

In town they handle fine but seem to bounce rather hard.

It will probably soon feel normal to me, but regardless, I am enjoying the great noise reduction compared to the replaced tires.

IMO, if the car recommends H-rated or higher, be it V, W, etc, it is not a good idea to go below H. T rated and lower tires do not have the nylon cap ply that makes H and higher rated tires much safer.

Some tires are offered in both T and H rated but that does not mean the construction is necessarily the same. I saw the sell sheet for a tire that was T or H rated depending on size along with a cut away diagram. There was a '*' with a foot note that indicated that the nylon cap ply may not be present in all sizes.

There is more to the speed rating than just the maximum sustained speed of the tire. It often changes the driving characteristics also.

I've read online and was told by a Firestone business owner you should only with a one speed rating difference.

Yes and Tire Rack will red flaq any tire that does not meet the sidewall load rating.That has happened to me once.
A T rated tire likely has less sidewall stiffness and strength than a H.Just like the H vs a V.
A T should ride softer but I wouldn't go more than one rating less than the oem spec.
215/60/16 Primacy is a temp A and the Harmony is a B.
Both very good tires and only a $9 each different cost at TR.
I like Michelin tires.

Regarding the cap ply, it's true that many tires below a speed rating of H don't have them (as their lower speed rating and heat build-up doesn't require it)and many tires that come in multiple speed ratings exclude the cap ply from the lower speed rated tire. An exception is the T rated Hankook Optimo H727 which DOES have the cap ply. My experience with them on my Honda Accord is very positive and the handling is quite good for a T rated tire along with a smooth and quiet ride, great snow traction and long tread life. I'd guess that a lot depends on the design characteristics of each manufacturer and the higher ratings don't automatically mean better handling. I do know that a lot of Honda and Toyota drivers who have cars that come from the factory with V rated tires (Camry and Accord in particular) are using T rated tires with no reported problems despite the claims that the lower-rated tires may compromise handling of the vehicles.

I have a set of Primacy MXV4 on my BMW. I'm about at 60k miles on them. A great tire. Purchased at Costo, Nitro filled, they have worn perfectly. ( did get an alignment the day I put them on )
They are expensive, but worth it... at the time, it was the same 70 instant cash back.

Tire Rack is a very good source, but there is one big problem, tires rated on the site can be very 'band wagon' in nature. No one will admit they went for a cheap tire and that is was terrible.
You will see a ton of reviews on a cheaper tire that everyone loves. I purchased some Kumos based on this type of feedback and I hated them and they were terriblel, period.

I hear you. I put some Kumos on the 02 Accord and the wife hated them, even though they got good reviews at TR. I'm trying to save a buck or two, so I ordered the Yokohoma envigorators for the 06. I got a set of Yoko's on the truck and they've been really good. Plus, the 06 is my car and if they are not "all that" I can live with it. Heck, I got Rivals Radio on XM 143 cranked up in the mornings anyway I can't even tell if the car is running or not. I told my wife and she freaked and said I can't believe you didn't get Mich's. I told her it's my car and I'll live with it, plus, they were wayyyyyy cheaper for same amount of mileage. The 06 runs back and forth to work, 99.9% straight line at 70 mph. Don't need a high dollar tire for that.
