I saw this on Amazon for .99 while other filter prices climb quickly on there. What do you guys think of it?

PG oil filters been posted here. Generally look to be well made, metal endcaps jobber tier filters. If it matters to you, efficiency usually unknown though at that price, wouldn't think it a priority. Coo if that matters, some show Korea, some seem to be China. IMO, ok for 3-5k ocis. Similar to Prime Guard and discontinued Driveworks filter.

Linked below to a PG that would be representative.

Nothing wrong with them...I use them everyday on my fleet of Ford 5.4's (PG4651) same as MC 820-s and bunches of them on customers OPE we work on..(PG241) same as fram 3614..no issues and I cut filters open constantly just out of curiosity.

Hmmm, thanks guys. At least it seems pretty decent. I need to get an oil change done fairly soon. I saw some Supertechs at WM for $2.74ish.

The dealer has oem filters for $4.25 on the Matrix.

The Supertechs at WM for $2.84 are solid wix made , good for a 5-7k oci. Im putting one on soon.. step up to the higher end ones with the silcone adbv for fall/winter change
