Preferred 15w-40 for small Kubota diesel?

I'm running 15w40 Delo Gold Ultra in my Kubota v2203 based generator. Considered switching up to a CJ4 oil, but it's been running fantastic here in Karachi on the CI4. I try to give it around a minute after warmup before placing it under load, but that's not always possible.

It's difficult to go wrong with a proper Chevron product. It is a global company.

Thanks for the clarification. In that case, since we have up to 500ppm of sulfur in our diesel here, I should probably stick to CI4. In fact, I recently put an E7, E9 CJ4 (Delo 400 MGX) into my truck, but might change that to CI4 going forward as well. Then again, due to the dusty environment, we typically change engine oil at 5000km. Probably an appropriately short OCI.

If the oil changes are that short, you shouldn't have to worry too much about CI-4 versus CJ-4 or CK-4, but a CI-4 would certainly be suitable. I think E4 would be the suitable ACEA specification for most non-ULSD use.
