Pre Mix 2 Stroke Oil

Recently bought a Stihl backpack leaf blower. The dealer delivered it with bottled pre-mixed gas. They claim it has over a one year life and is ok to leave it in the tank long term. My gut feeling to use this fuel at $35 per gallon but to drain it when the blower is in storage. What is the reality ?

I have a Stihl blower and have for over 20 years and most 2 stroke oils have Stabil in them and do not require removing to gas over the winter. I use my blower some during the winter still have leaves falling.

Which blower and your thoughts on it?
I've owned pb-580, pb-8010, and used a pb-755


I like to drain mine and run them dry for storage, but probably not necessary with the canned gas.

Stihl's MotoMix is an alkylated fuel and it will easily remain stable for 12 months.
