I went this week to the Advance Auto Parts in Waterville, Maine to buy some PP in 5W-40 Euro formula. Only two weights in stock (5w30 and 10w30) and when I asked about the 5W-40 Euro formula, all the clerks looked at me like I was from outer space. They said they can't get it and couldn't give me a raincheck even if they could. Needless to say, this was not only my first, but also my last visit to Advance Auto Parts.

If you have a Pennzoil quick oil/lube store near you, they can order this oil with no shipping charges. I was quoted $6.99/qt by the store near me in Louisville, KY. Good luck.

IT seems that the "euro oils" are really hard to find over the ocunter

I still have to see a bottle of the mysterious Pennzoil 5w-40 or the Quaker state 5w-40.

The only oils that I consistently run into(EUro spec) are Mobil 1 0w-40 and Syntec 5w-40.

Valvoline 5w-40 has been discontinued from Kragen it seems, because the stores that used to carry it dont have it, nor do they have the shelf sticker for it.

I got some PP %W-40 Euro from the oilstore.com.

With shipping two cases came out to about $5.40/qt. not to bad a deal.

Anybody have any short or long term experience with this oil ? My stash of GC 0w30 is slowly disappearing.
