I dont know jack about UOAs, but this looks pretty good for still being a young engine. Dont know if Si 28 is normal, seems a bit high.

Silicon is probably high due to leaching gaskets or contamination from engine assembly. How many miles does this engine have? What did the Maintenance Minder read when you changed the oil?

I have a 2005 Civic. I don't know if the engines have anything in common, but, my first Silicone results came up high also. My ensuing test came back with the Silicone levels being OK.

The wear values are fairly normal. It took my K20A3 engine about 12,000 miles for the wear metals to finally stabilize. Now 1ppm/1000mi of any metal is high.

Critic,
the 'Maintenance Minder read' 15% left. I had just returned from Denver to Cincy when I got back and changed the oil. I went longer on the oil change than I had planned.

As far as the Silicon, I hope it comes down. The air box has not been opened since I drove the car home new. I'm waiting on Amsoil to make a Ea Air Filter for the new Civic, soon I hope.

Thanks for all the responses.
