Been using motorcraft oil filter...any reason to switch to Donaldson, Baldwin, or something else next oil change. Am using synthetic oil. Appreciate the advice.

Any of the quality filters would work. The most important filter is the air filter. Syn oil id for freezing temp starts.

+1 Any quality filter, MC is a perfectly fine filter

+1. I have used MC filters for years with very good results. No bleed off starts, no leaks, and the filter media always looks good.

I guess that I will be the opposite side of the coin. I will not use MC filters on my PSD because I do not like their construction. For the money, there are higher quality filters on the market. I would look at WIX or Baldwin, both of which are wire backed. I have used all 3 and WIX and Baldwin have better construction.

Thanks...I will look at those as well. Morotcraft has oil filter specs for 7.3, 6.4, 6.0...but not 6.7? Imteresting.

Thanks.

They're all great filters. Go with whichever one you can get your hands on easiest is what I'd do.

I'm with 2015psd I too have used wix and Clarcor products and are built 10 x better than motorcraft and not much price difference plus would probably be a better pairing since you are already using syn oil
