Power Sports - Post your latest oil change

2016 Viking VI
Bought in March 2024 used with 798 miles and 56.2 hours on it. It had a brand new battery on it and appeared to have just had an oil change, both the filter and oil looked new when we picked it up. There was no oil consumption in 500 miles and ~100 hours of usage. I used my oil extractor to suck out the oil and then poured in about 2.25 quarts of T6 5w40. I left the M1-108A filter on.

2016 Viking VI
2,054 miles, 272.7 hours
OCI: 718 miles, 117.3 hours
Out: ^
In: Rotella T6 5w40, Fram PH7317 (e-core)
Changed F&R diff oils with Yamalube 80w90.
The foam air filter is coming apart and has a hole in it, I ordered a replacement filter. Admittedly I should have checked the air filter when I first got it, I have no idea how long it’s had a hole in it, but the foam just absolutely fell apart when I started removing it. I’ve never seen anything like it. Has anybody ever used a K&N on a side by side or ATV? K&N does make one for these, I just worry that they wouldn’t filter as good as an oiled foam element, but it would be easier to clean I think. I bet it would be better than what I just removed from this machine.😂 Thoughts?

Yikes. That one is toast! Is there an UNI oiled filter you could run? I ask because I'm currently running one in my mule that's been great compared to the smaller OEM setup that's dry media. The UNI is a larger surface area and barely fits in the airbox. Definitely lowers resistance in airflow comparatively, but does add another service item to your list of PM.

That’s exactly what I ordered. Amazon link
