Power Sports - Post your latest oil change

2007 Toyo FJ Cruiser with 205k on it.
Still using Pennzoil Pt synthetic (5w30) and Purolator Boss filter.
Running like a top after me putting on 175k of those miles...over 12 years.

Cousins 2015 Honda Pioneer 700
New air filter and VP Racing filter oil
New NGK plug
Honda 10W30 and Honda filter
Front and rear diffs got Honda 80W90

Rode hard and picked up wet, air filter was nasty and so was the oil.

Changed the oil in mine and my dad's Kodiak 450s, both 2005 models.

One had an ecogard filter, the other a white super tech. 6607 size, drained out a 5w40/15w40 rotella mix from both.

Refilled with 5w40/15w40 mix and installed new pg4612 premium guard filters.

I've noticed with the last couple supertechs I've taken off little to no oil comes out, so the filters aren't holding oil like they used to, so I'm taking a break from them for awhile

I’m not sure what you’re saying here. They’re small filters and even with the anti drain gasket there wouldn’t be much more than a couple or 3 tablespoons of oil held inside. Did you actually see if the anti drain gasket had tension against the housing…?

2012 Honda Foreman 500
Rotella 15W40,Fram CH6015 filter
Air filter got cleaned and reoiled with VP Racing filter oil
New NGK BKR5E-11 spark plug

Front and rear diffs got Yamaha 80W90 shaft drive oil

The ecogard I took off was spilling oil as soon as I took it off, the supertech didn't spill a drop, even after turning it upside down.

2009 Yamaha Grizzly 550

Removed Ecogard filter and drained 5w40/15w40 Rotella mix

Installed Purolator tech L14610 filter and fresh 5w40/15w40 Rotella mix

Did the second change at 60 hours in the 2024 Kodiak 450.

This will be in there for a couple thousand miles/couple hundred hours.

Out: LiquiMoly 4T Offroad 10W-40/hiflofiltro H204
In: Motul 7100 10W-40/hiflofiltro H204

2001 Quadrunner 250 4x4- new fill after draining to replace centrifugal clutch. I briefly tried Rotella T6 but immediately changed it due to really horrific clutch pack slipping with it (not the centrifugal clutch). The previous Kawasaki and new Castrol oils did not slip at all, the T6 slipped constantly.
Out: Kawasaki Ktech Blend 10W-40/generic filter
In: Castrol Actevo Blend 10W-40/generic filter

2019 Kawasaki Mule SX
Out: Gasoline and 10W40 Valvoline Motorcycle oil.
Off: FRAM XG4967
In: Shell Rotella T6 5W40
On: FRAM TG4967

2000 Polaris Magnum 500. Out was, if I recall, Co-op DMO 0w40. In went the remaining 0w40 and 5w40 to top up.

I change the oil at the end of the season, so maybe late fall. I had some other maintenance planned so it just sat pretty much unused for a few months.

I do the oil filter every other change, so I will swap out the Fram Ultra this fall.

2016 Yamaha WaveRunner V1 Sport, 75 hours
Out: LiquiMoly PWC 10W-40, K&N Filter (35 hours, UOA Pending)
In: Motul 7100 10W-40, HiFloFiltro filter

Gotta love the Viking
We’ve got 3 of them, a 2014, a 2016 6 seater and a 2020. They’ve all been good. I worry a little about the middle drive gear failing, but so far we haven’t had any issues. I just put a SPAL fan on the 2014 and new parking brake pads. Other than that it hasn’t really needed anything as far as repairs.

I have a 16 3 seater.
I put an All balls fan on it from Rocky Mountain ATV when I had to replace the thermostat. Also added a coolant temp sensor at that time.
Replaced a front axle. That was my fault.

Otherwise just general maintenance. Battery Spark Plug oil changes

2020 Yamaha Viking
2,614 miles and 524.4 hours
Out: unknown oil/interval, OEM filter
In: Rotella T6 5w40 and a Fram TG7317
I also greased it and changed the front and rear differential fluid with Yamalube 80w90

I’ve been using my oil extractor to change the oil on these 700’s and it seems to get it all out. I’m not a big fan of pulling the drain plug out of these engines, I stripped out the drain plug on a Yamaha Rhino 700 one time, it stripped before I got to the specified torque and that was with a brand new crush washer. I put an oversized plug in that Rhino and it never gets taken out now.

2004 Yamaha Raptor 660
Nothing to track hours/mileage. Oil’s cheap so annual change is easy to remember. Guessing maybe 15 hours if that.

Out: Supertech 10w40 full synthetic 4 stroke motorcycle & Fram XG6607
In: Supertech 10w40 full synthetic 4 stroke motorcycle & OE Yamaha filter
