power bleeder gone wrong?

I've used my Motive on a few different cars, but this will be the first time on a Honda. You are right about how quick it is to bleed brakes with a Motive.

Reading this discussion, you will learn that others have had problems in trying to use the pressure method on their Honda cars. But some have succeeded, including @The Critic. So I'm anxious to see how it goes.
Missed that. I did on Toyota, BMW (when tracking several times a year), VW. We borrowed Pilot to my sister in law. I was about to do it. When they return it (hopefully) will try and see.

Using my Motive brake bleeder, in combination with the reservoir adapter cap that I gave a link for in post #38, I was able to bleed the brakes on my daughter's '18 CR-V. I forgot to time it, but it felt that it took about the same amount of time that it usually takes to bleed brakes.

The adapter that I used has a black thumb screw on the top. After screwing on the adapter, I turned the thumb screw so it was tight. This seemed to help secure the adapter to the reservoir. After pumping the Motive up to 15 psi, I watched the gage for a minute or so, and verified no drop in pressure, to confirm that the adapter was not leaking.

I can't say for sure that the choice of adapter made the difference between success and frustration. But it definitely worked for me.
