First, I don't care if you have been a dealer for 27 years, I had issues with Amsoil, Period. Just because you are a dealer doesn't mean they didn't screw up. What does YOUR 7 years as a dealer have to do with this?? Were YOU personally involved in this transaction?? Were you aware I haven't used a dealer (well, once and that was a fiasco too), but have ordered straight through Amsoil?? If you have nothing more to add than "YOU must have screwed up", then why post if you really know nothing about what transpired????

And FYI, on my orders, I received a little thing called an "invoice" and the order in the little box didn't match the "invoice". The stuff in the box SHOULD at least match the "invoice", or so I thought??

Am I personally invovled? Well I'm a Paying sponsor on this board and have been for many years.

You publicly trashing a company I'm involved with so I must have some comment.

You buy Amsoil products, unless you are purchasing at a retail location you are buying through dealer whether you like it or not. That dealer makes a commission every time you order. So yes you are going through a dealer.

Amsoil screws up an order they correct it. PERIOD.
And if Amsoil didn't take care of their mistake, then you should have called the dealer that you are assigned to, it's their job to solve problems like this. That's why they call it customer service.

Dealer?? I wasn't assigned a dealer. I placed all but the last transaction through Amsoil directly.

Everything I ordered (short the MTF) was straight through Amsoil. It was shipped straight from their distribution center in south central pennsylvania (as told to me by Amsoil, so they could charge me the correct tax), not from a dealer.

I'm not arguing with you over things YOU have no idea about (the transactions I completed with Amsoil). I solved the problem...I no longer use Amsoil. I am completely over this, however, the longer you want to drag this out, the longer I will continue with rebutals.

I started this thread to talk about a new Luber-Finer bypass, and you want to attack me because I didn't have good luck ordering with YOUR company?

Honestly I don't want to attack you. I understand being frustrated in dealing with companies, Matter of fact I'm dealing with one now on a Knife sheath I had made (it's been 3 months) and I'm not attacking the guy on the internet in front of 30,000 people. That's all.

I'm really sorry that you had a difficult time dealing with Amsoil. If in the future you need assistance, call me directly 877-464-8798 I will insure that you are treated like a real customer, I will insure that your orders are taken care of ASAP even if I have to drive to PA to do it.

It's unfortunate that you don't know which dealer your assigned to. I try to send a thank you or some sort of letter to those assigned to me.

Anyhow I'll be done on high jacking your thread. Good luck with the luberfiner.

Well well I find this kind of funny. Really I've been a dealer for 7 years. Amsoil Screws up an order, they send you the right stuff, then issue a call tag for the wrong stuff. Matter of fact I had to do this the other day.

Secondly, If it's the case that "YOU" ordered the wrong product how can you expect Amsoil to eat your mistake.

Thirdly, what sets some dealers apart from others is CUSTOMER SERVICE

I guess you get what you get when you don't choose a competent dealer.

Good luck with the new companies you work with. Hope you never go postal on any of them.

wow that was a professional post. I don't think the original poster "went postal" on anything. he didn't even say what the problem was until he was asked! Pretty cure that post right there would steer me away from your as an amsoil dealer! But who cares cause I won't be buying amsoil stuff anyway.

I'm interested in hearing more about this. (The filters, for clarification)

well I am guessing that since the original poster has now gone anonymous we may not hear anything else about his expereince! thats really too bad that he was driven away! I too wanted hear about the filters

tjbeggs: I don't beleive he was "driven" away. I beleive he was unfairly banned because of his comments about Amsoil, which I made clear in my first post. Notice the "edited by Arkapigdiesel" under my statement?

It is just another example of the bias this site has toward amsoil. Anytime anyone says anything bad, something like this seems to happen.

Not that I'm a conspiracy theorist or anything, I just think it is ludicris that msparks is allow to pop off like that at another member and have nothing hap....

Hold on, there is a knock on my door........

md_lucky_13,

If you have a question about the way this site is run please contact an admin -vs- posting your thoughts. Don't assume you know the story.

Just so you know, he was NOT banned. He asked me to delete his account, in which I did. I'm in hopes that the poster who asked to have his account deleted will calm down and will return.

sdeeter is a good guy, but was rubbed the wrong way and asked to have his account deleted. There are no black helicopters hovering above you or any other poster on BITOG.
