post your latest transmission lubricant change.

2002 BMW 330i with ZF5HP19 automatic tranny w/ 130k miles

-Did a drain and fill on the transmission using VML ATF
-Drained again, dropped pan, filter and Lower Front Valve Body
-Installed Transgo's Pressure Regulator Valve (ZF5HP19-PR)
-(old filter was dated 2002)
-New Filter, pan gasket and plugs (ZFS-5961300580)
-Topped off with move VML (took 8 quarts)
-Test drive and no leaks!

2016 Honda Accord Sport with 28,612 miles

-Drained about 4 quarts of the factory fill CVT fluid. It was a bit darker than I assumed it was going to be, but didn't appear bad overall.
-Refilled with Honda HCF-2 and then drove around the block
-Drained again
- Refilled with more HCF-2 and checked level via check hole.

UOA sample is off to Blackstone!

I pulled a gallon out of my 47re in my old dodge. Replaced it with valvoline dex/merc. The truck has a shudder on lockup that had been getting worse. The fresh gallon certainly improved its behavior. Pan drop/filter and fresh fluid are coming up.

2017 Ford Explorer XLT 3.5 NA at 61,563 miles. This was the second time I did a drain and refill on this vehicle, each time at about 30,000 miles. I drained exactly 4.5 quarts and put back in the same amount of ST Full Syn Mercon LV. Transmission is shifting smoothly and the Explorer is overall running great. Here is a picture of what came out at 61,000 miles. Still red, just a little darker…

Have that same bucket . Plan to use it someday for same use .

I have the two different sizes and could really use one that is a little bigger. The one that is 5qts really only measures up to 3.5 qts, though it holds 5…Works great for catching and measuring tranny juice…

1997 Honda Accord Wagon 2.2 4cyl
Mileage on vehicle - 251,877
Drain and fill -
Out : 2.5 qts of OEM DW-1 transfluid
In : 2.5 qts of Valvoline Maxlife ATF

Magnefine transmission filter left on for future replacement.

2010 BMW X3 with the GM trans. Spousemobile.
127k miles on vehicle.
Second drain and fill after filter change @ 125k miles.
Fluid that came out was bright red. Added 4qts of Maxlife. Shifts like it should, no slippage, no bangs or jerks (debatable when I'm driving it).

2008 328i with GM trans. #1 Girl's DD since new.
149k miles on vehicle.
Out: 6.5 qts AC Delco Dexron VI.
In: 6.5qts Maxlife with new BMW filter.
Shifts like it should, no slippage. No bangs or jerks.

These GM transmissions aren't that picky despite what internet fear mongers scream.

30 to 50 C measuring temp, barely warm, ambient in the Summer in most of the US. The level is just sort of in the neighborhood. No need to precisely measure what came out or esoteric measuring techniques. Pan warm to the back of the hand.
My anecdotes above. :ROFLMAO:

Used a Flow N Go to pull out some fluid in my 08 Burb and my son’s 2010 Silverado. I got 1-1/2 quarts out of the 6L90 and we got 2.3 quarts out of the 2010. Both out and in was old school Dexron VI.
Only 1-2qts? A full pan drop is 6qts

2020 Ranger 10R80 - 30,000 miles

Sucked out ~3qts of whatever mix is in there, which is a combination of factory and Valvoline ULV as I've done 2 other D&F's before.

In went 3qts of Valvoline ULV and 3oz of LG Platinum.
