post your latest transmission lubricant change.

2015 Mazda 5.
Current is a mix of Mazda M5 and a couple previous pulls and refills with Amsoil SS ATF.
Did almost 2 qts out and in via the dipstick tube. Previous attempts pulled about 1.5 qts but jiggling the tube, I found it goes past this stopping point to just a bit lower and now can take out just a squeak under 2 qts. The small remainder of fresh went into the PS.

Vacuum extracted 2 quarts out of my Chevy Blazer thru the dipstick tube. Replaced with 2 quarts Valvoline Maxlife Multi Vehicle Synthetic Trans Lube. I've been doing that every year on the cars I own for the past several years. The fluid coming out looks almost as clean as what I put back in. Unfortunately I cannot do that to my Toyota, it has no dipstick ugh.

2016 3500HD Silverado (Duramax)
72,099 miles | 5,441.6 engine hours
(26,177 miles and 2,291.7 hours since I did a drain and fill at 45,922 miles.)
Drained and dropped pan, I changed the internal and the external spin-on transmission filter. Ten quarts of Dexron-VI brought the fluid level to the low side of the hot marks idling in park at 170°F. The pan was spotless aside from a very light coating of fuzz on the magnet. The internal filter media looked like brand new, with nothing visible in or on the media. Allison says the internal filter is to be changed upon overhaul only. I’ll only be doing an occasional drain and fill with an external spin-on filter change from here on out.

2016 Corolla L with conventional gear transmission, 151K, 10 mile OCI
My grand niece's Corolla had never been serviced. Stuff was really black.
This car calls for Toyletta WS....
I serviced the trans last week with Maxlife; it did smooth out the shifts somewhat.
After MityVac-ing the engine oil today, I tried sucking out the trans fluid through the dipstick.
Pulled just shy of 4 quarts! Put in 3.5 qts of Maxlife and took it for a short drive. Added just a taste more Maxlife.
This is 2nd service, probably close to 7 quarts replaced. Not red-pink, kinda gray-red.
Car drives and feels really good. Why in the world does Toyletta say lifetime fluid? Sheesh.

2013 BMW F10 520i, 169000km, did two drain and fill with Maxlife so probably replaced 6 liter of fluid , has been running for a week so far working great, I don't think it was shifting any better when it was new.
Only cons is Maxlife smells really strong which made me think I had a leak after change.

1992 Cavalier with almost 244,000 miles. Dropped pan and replaced filter and refilled with Pennzoil ATM for automatics and is Dextron IIE and Dextron III approved. Part of a stash I bought cheap several years ago. I had a little over 30,000 miles on the fluid change and the fluid was still nice and red and no debris in pan or much fuzz on the magnet.

I've had the car since about 76,600 miles and it's still running the same transmission with no repairs in the past 15 years. It still shifts okay.

This summer:

2019 WRX STI: Motul Gear 300 75W-90 for manual transmission, front differential and rear differential.

My niece's 2015 Odyssey, 122K, 5.3K OCI
2nd short term service. Fluid looks pretty good. MityVac baby!

Spill and fill: 3.3 quarts Idemitsu Honda DW-1 equivalent
I mighta put in a little too much. I am an idiot. Check later...

2001 Toyota Tundra V8 4spd w/ 191,000mi. Changed all 16qts via cooler line exchange method. Put out 4 qts at a time, add in 4 qts then repeat 4 times. Did not drop pan before fluid change since old fluid did not look abnormal needing to inspect pan magnets and replace screen mesh filter.

Out: Valvoline Dexron VI and plastic body Magnefine inline filter.
In: Valvoline Maxlife and new design metal body Magenfine inline filter.
