'98 F150 SuperCab 4x2, 4.6. 109K miles. Did two pan drop and filter changes after I purchased the truck this fall. Today I did a trans flush using the Snap-On T-stat and 15 quarts of Amsoil multi vehicle synthetic. Will repeat in 30K miles.

Dropped pan and changed filter on 94 intrepid w/254K on it... not sure if the filter had ever been changed on it (didn't say made in china on it and looked very "original")
Put in 5 quarts of ATF+4 (need one more quart to add about 1/4 into it to get it up to where it needs to be.)
Also dropped the pan and changed the filter on a 96 chevy blazer w/213K (don't think the filter had ever been changed on this one either.)
Put in 5 quarts of Dexron VI.

2005 Silverado with 4L65E. Dropped pan, changed filter, 5 quarts Castrol Dex VI. I do fluid exchange when new at 30k miles, this was at 72k miles.

114,000 Miles on original ATF/Filter
Dropped pan, pulled filter, only a tiny bit of fuzz on the magnet no metal shards/flakes.
Took about an hour to clean up the 1/2" thick Mopar ATF RTV Sealant on the pan and trans mating surface. Installed the new Mopar OEM filter, ran a nice 1/4" bead around the pan, slapped her up there, torqued it down by feel.
Filled with 5 qts Mopar ATF+4
1500 miles later shes never shifted so smooth. No leaks, no problems!

Truck in my signature...250k. 6.5 Quarts of Red Line MTL, old fill had roughly 28k miles. Also installed a fill hose to eliminate filling the trans while laying on the ground.

Took 5.3 quarts of Castrol ATF+4 and a filter. Oddly the gasket was nicer in the kit I bought so I used it.
Smooth and happy. This car has over 50 passes at the strip, many days of road course track events and tons of aggressive driving. Can't say anything bad about it.
Far and away the most trouble free 180 mph car you ever owned!

2005 Dodge Stratus. 206,000 miles. Original engine & trans. Trans solonoid pack replaced, so full service with MaxLife ATF with 1 bottle of Lubeguard Red.
It continues to work great! The mechanic tested the CVI index (?) and said it is within limits and working great. The fluid has been flushed every 30,000 with ATF+4, and the last two flushes with Maxlife.

And. 2008 Mercury Milan. 50000 miles. 6spd asian warner trans. Maxlife ATF.
The trans works much better with this ATF than the garbage Ford premium ATF/Toyota T-IV/Mobil3309 ATF. The trans also may be hard on ATF, as it becomes dirty and brown quickly. Perhaps the Maxlife is cleaning. It hadn't been serviced until now. When it stays red, a bottle of Lubeguard Red will be added.

Today I had the dealer do my Ford Freestyle CVT and High Pressure filter kit. I had to convince them there was a filter. When I printed out the service manual instructions for the fluid change, H.P.filter and o rings change and how to check the level with the temp. Monitor, they were convinced. They kept the instructions... Anyway, three hundred bucks later.... i'm a happy camper.

I don't know what the stuff that came out was. It looked clean but it was definitely the wrong viscosity--85W140 maybe.
It works much better now.

Drained about 4.5 quarts of the factory fill, refilled with about 4.5 quarts of Subaru (Indemitsu) ATF-HP. There is no serviceable filter on this Subaru trans.
