I have a 1967 Sears Suburban 12/6 with the HH120 Tecumseh.
The last oil change/service grease etc. was 14 years ago!!
Before you roast me you need to know I use synthetic oil and have never needed to top it up and it also looked fairly clean on dipstick.
It is only used to pull a utility trailer for yard work and grand kids.
Other than replacing the transmission drive belt last year it had been a trouble free brute that easily pulls my 900Lb wood splitter.
They don’t make them like this anymore!!

Changed the oil in my parents John Deere s240 with the 18.5 HP Kawasaki vtwin.
Drained out I believe Pennzoil or qstate 10w30 synthetic, removed a Purolator tech 10241 filter

Installed a new Purolator tech filter and filled with Supertech 10w30 full syn

What's the PUROLATOR number ? Would it work with the B&S 22 H.P. Twin Cylinder ?

Not the guy that you replied, but the tech filter would be TL10241. I’ve ran the PL10241, which is just a higher end version of Purolator, in my 20HP Briggs V-Twin. They all cross back to Wix 51348. There’s also a bigger Purolator that’s about double the height that fits, that part number is somewhere on my previous posts.

We had it bad but the center of the state had it way worse. I travelled across state over the weekend and 90% of the trees East of Gaylord have no tops left. The roadsides are mulched up trees for miles. Temporary wiring and lines down across roads all over the place still.

This time I changed oil in my John Deere s240 with the 18.5 HP Kawasaki.

Removed a Purolator tech 10241 filter and drained out I believe quakerstate 10w30 synthetic

Installed a longer filter this time. A Mopar M0452, same size as a Fram ph3600. I bought a couple on clearance at Walmart years ago. Decided I should finally use them. Just enough clearance.

Filled with Supertech 10w30 synthetic
