I thought that little Champion oil bottle would be something nice to keep around to keep an exact oil change with the generator. Accidentally knocked it off behind the bench and the cap split and popped off dumping the Delo 15w-30. Lesson learned.

Just realized I measured the oil level by screwing in the dipstick on the fill tube then pulling it out and reading it. On a GCV 160 you are supposed to unscrew the dipstick, wipe the oil off then insert the dipstick WITHOUT screwing in the dipstick. It now indicated I was low. I had to add about 3 oz of oil to get it right and was back up to 13 oz. Doesn’t sound like much but 3oz is 23% of the capacity. All this is in the owners manual.

Changed the oil in my Dads B&S 17.5 single cylinder riding mower.
Used a Briggs filter and Rotella 30wt.

My Toro Timecutter is next. I almost have 5 hrs on it, the recommended break in oil change. The engine is a 24.5 Toro twin. Haven't decided what oil to run yet. Probably Delo of some flavor.

I couldn't find the Delo SD 15w30 that O'Reillys and Napa is supposed to carry. I had 10 gallons of the 10w30 that I got on clearance for my truck.
