Post your latest small engine oil change

Changed the air filter, too.

Like Baja said above, starts easily, and I use 91 octane Shell with a dash of STP fuel system cleaner. Going on it's 9th season.

Honda HRX217 mower with GCV200 engine
Changing air filter, fuel filter, spark plug, and engine oil.
I had to remove and reseal the valve cover because of leakage. I adjusted the valves also.

I have a Honda HRX217VKA that I bought new in 2012 that I’m still using without issue.

And I’m using the engine oil that you have in your picture.

What caught my attention is your comment that you changed the fuel filter.
Do the newer (mine is likely a 190cc) Honda engines have a fuel filter?

Yes they do. If you remove the fuel line at the gas tank fitting it will be inside the fitting or the hose. It's red and kind of looks like a small straw with screened openings on the sides. If you remove the gas cap and look inside with a light you will see part of it where the hose fitting is. If you've never changed it then it might have turned a pink color.

Toro Recycler with the Honda GCV160 this is the second season of owning it since I picked it up new from HD, did the first oil change at about 5 hours to get all the break in material out and run strictly ethanol free gasoline. Changed the spark plug and air filter along with the oil and while the plug was out I sprayed some amsoil power foam into the cylinder just to keep things nice and clean.

Two lawnmowers, both with Honda GCV 160 engines. One got the last of the Motomaster 10w30 semi-synthetic diesel motor oil. The other one got Shell Rotella T5 10w30 semi-Synthetic diesel motor oil. Replaced one of the air filters with a Made in China air filter that I purchase in packs from Amazon. They are decent quality and cheap. Here are some shots.

Did a tuneup on my Lowe’s special push mower. I’m guessing it’s around 20 years old. 6-ish(?) horse Briggs.

The oil had been in there a while, but was always topped off. Ran it for 30-45 mins then changed it. Used M1 0w40. Replaced the spark plug and air filter too just because of their age. It still runs the same. Lol.

The county graded our road before they added more chip and seal last year. Between that and tractors going in and out of fields, the grass I mow by the road is pretty rough. I’m no longer using my riding mowers on it. Too risky.

Honda GCV 160 push mower...12 ounces Honda 10w-30
Just a suggestion. When you check the oil on a GCV, you do not screw the cap on. You just swipe it clean then lower it into the hole until the cap makes contact. Do not screw it in. Pull it out and look. Twelve ounces is not enough for a GCV 160. This comes from the manual. :)

My GCV160 takes about 13-ish ounces, depending on how long I let the old oil drain out.
