Worth it? Probably nah. But I talked the rep down to half price ($5.11) for the quart saying I would come back if it's unicorn tears.

Westinghouse iGen 2200 genny/inverter

Bought and used on my recent week long riding trip up North. I broke her in on the supplied oil at home and changed to Motorcraft 10W30 diesel oil. I used it every day for a week (it worked flawlessly and super quiet!).

Changed out the MC yesterday and installed Brigg& Stratton 5W30 Synthetic with a few oz of PP10W30 drippings.

Those are cool little mowers. I worked on an F525 once, pretty fun to drive.
21 years old and the engine/drive unit is flawless. Deck is what fails. They do have their drawbacks as it can tear up the lawn and not cut so good when turning. First thing I had to do was disable the seat and reverse switches.

I knew what I wanted before going to the dealer. Went to my local one and they did not want order it, claiming low trade in value when I got rid of it. They offered me a $1000 trade in for my old Yardman 4 wheel steer POS. But I went to the next state, they were more than happy to order it and even specified that is was a new one built and not old stock. They delivered the next week at a full $1500 under the local dealers price and no trade in nonsense. Still a lot of money back then at around $4500.

Interesting to see the magnetic dipstick I put in a few weeks ago already had some magnetic mud on it after running it for about an hour total. Also took the opportunity to see if the low oil shutdown actually works; turned on the ignition and pulled the rope after draining it, the low oil light flickered and it didn't start.
