My newer neighbor requested an oil change on a '05 Highlander and a '19 QX60
Got my hands on these from AAP for $8 each
I've got crush washers, and Total/Mobil oils that are appropriate

I might profit 🫣
Which is a rare occurrence 🙄

New stuff for two of my Camry’s today. All for the 2017 except the F1 oil filter which is for dads Camry. It’s hard to find the full size filters anymore. We have had excellent luck with these brake pads at work. A lot of people request these. I have these for the back of the 2004 Camry too that I still have to install. These are for the 17 Camry. I don’t see a good reason to use OEM brake parts but that’s just my opinion. Especially since Toyota doesn’t include hardware and employee price on hardware is $25 making the pads cost more than any parts store. Customer price at the counter is $50 for hardware. These pads are nice and we haven’t had any comebacks with them. I also purchased high mileage oil too. Yesterday Napa never showed up with parts they delivered them this morning. I told the parts guy order me the exact same thing and see if they deliver it in time. They showed up in 20 minutes lol.

I bought a battery hold down kit from Amazon for $9 . The new battery in my Titan was an inch taller than the old one and the threaded rods were too short . Rather than try to return the battery to Walmart and deal with that nonsense I just ordered a new kit and it was delivered the next day . Not very exciting , but that's the way it is .. :geek:

SKF 458BF joints for the weird Dodge crossover -- difficult to find non-greaseable on short notice when needed

Brute Force 2-1175 to replace my faulty 5-811X joints. I just scrapped the last brand new 5-811X I had sitting here. It pains me to scrap new Spicer joints but I'm done with the hard plastic seals that crack the second you seat the caps.

I'm a Spicer fan boi but I have no idea what they were thinking here.....and they just act bewildered when I've called.

Duralast Camshaft Position Sensor for dads 2004 Camry. It failed as soon as he pulled in the driveway. Can’t wait for an OEM one and the car has almost 300k on it anyway. I think this one will be fine. Luckily Auto Zone had them they are my preferred store anyway. I’m mad cause I had to leave in the middle of watching the baseball game to go get this lol.

Apparently my local TSC tired of seeing a few Purolator stragglers. They marked these two at .50 and put them up at the register.

I didn't even know what they fit but before purchasing cross referenced on RA and saw they appear to be 5.7 Toyota V8 applicable. I figure I'll use them eventually

4 NGK spark plugs that were supposed to be gapped to .035" from Rock Auto. Received an open box, with 3 counterfeit NGKs gapped to .044". Returned them to Rock Auto and received a partial refund because I only returned 3 of the 4 that I purchased. I'm done with Rock Auto.

That's it, all my plugs are gonna be AAP brick and mortar 😔

$8 each plus tax, no more crush washer included 🙄
And the guys I were cool with don't work there anymore 😭

It was fun while it lasted, I used to pay maybe half the price 🥺

Hyundai takes a little better care of me 🤌
$20 got me 3 filters and the crush washers

This should keep my inventory healthy for the handful of cars I service

I snagged a Motorcraft bulk/sell pack of 12 FL910s filters on eBay for under $50 delivered

At $4.08 each, that should insulate me from price fluctuations and availability problems

I miss the days of the Amazon next day prime $3.97 MC oil filter 😔

But now with plenty of oil and filters on hand, anything I do for my own vehicles will be conveniently off the shelf, and work I do for others will be more profitable 👌

Used oil filter housing from ebay, engine to housing gasket, and a John Deer bolt. I probably have another one lying around. I just wanted a John Deer bolt. This will be a future small project to add a Oil Filter housing to a Kawasaki FE290 in a John Deer Gator.
