It's the final OCI for the disappointment of a leased 2020 XT4
It's got 16k on it, this will be OCI 3 or 4
Warren SP 0w20, and the OE PF66 filter
Should be adequate until the lease runs out in 4 months

2007 Honda Fit:
Pair each of DFC drums and coated rotors
DFC shoes
Akebono pads(would go DFC as well but I don’t see this person regularly, so anything to keep them happy is a win)
OE Honda parking brake switch
OE Honda MTF
Fram orange can of joy

Delco ignition control module and generic coil pack for GM 2.2 Ecotec with 215,000 miles on it.

Drivers and passengers side tie rods for the 2011 Kia Soul.

This time I bought genuine Kia parts to replace the cheap TRQ tie rods I bought from 1a Auto less than 3 years ago (the boots are disintegrating)

Didn’t come with new nuts 🙄 so hopefully the old aftermarket nuts fit.

Moving back to AZ in July, want to make sure cars are up to snuff for the journey.

2008 Crown Vic:

- Raybestos Front rotors
- Wagner ultra quiet pads
- KYB shocks all around

2018 CX-9:

- RP 75w90 for rear diff and tcase
- Ravenol FZ ATF 10 qts for 2x drain/fills
Putting in these parts. Heard mixed things about the longevity of KYBs but really enjoying the ride so far! Threw in a pic of disassembly and the old struts inside the springs.

Six quarts of Genuine Toyota T-IV; Amazon $51.58. Should arrive tomorrow.

Planning to do a return line exchange; maintenance is way overdue. The A650E holds 8.9 quarts. I have an almost full case of Idemitsu TLS to make up the difference (I think it's in the shed).

Co worker is putting his project 2000 Cadillac Eldorado ETC (64k miles 👀) back on the road
It blew the rear center brake hose 3 years back, and it's been off the road since at least 2015
I prescribed these parts as a starting point, it'll probably need more
If one hose blew, the others aren't in much better condition
The master has been dry for at least a year, and it was bottomed multiple times dry, so I no longer trust it
And the rotors are rusted beyond recognition

BMW coolant, NGK spark plugs, Bosch wipers for me and my mom's car, ATE brake lube, MANN oil filters, Lemforder tension strut bushings, tension strut bolts, tension strut nuts, metal coolant flange and o-ring.

Not parts but a shop aid. When I have a need to measure/mix mass quantities like concentrated coolant, I never have a container with graduations handy. Usually, the re-purposed windshield washer bottles with self-inflicted Sharpie graduations get pitched after use.

Since I needed something large and graduated, I got these. Will come in handy for transmission cooler line exchanges too.

A new ABS tone ring for the Escape. This time the one on the passenger side snapped 2 years ago it was the driver side. So will be replacing that on my vacation break next week. When the Advance Auto guy brought this to my work he said in 30 years of automotive it was the first time he had seen or sold just the ring usually people just get the whole axle. The last ring I got at Auto Zone. I won’t replace axles if it doesn’t need them. Still has the originals at 211,000 so I’m not replacing them till they start going bad.

And dad wanted some new plugs for his car. We took the originals to 209,000 before replacing in 2018. Now we are at 299,000 and the plugs are pretty bad looking so I bought the exact same ones as what we put in back in 2018. We plan to run the car as long as it will go.

Picked up a pair of soon-to-be discontinued Monroe 71854 struts from RA on closeout for $45.79/ea. One came obviously opened with the rod zip-tied half way down 🙄 I initiated an exchange with RA, and another unit was shipped out within 20 minutes. They don't even want the defective strut back, so I'll save it as a backup.

Pissed is an understatement🤬
I thought I was getting the Refurb in Japan Hitachi branded distributor for my Villager, but no, it's just another new Chinese NS60 distributor, all for $275 🤬
I swear I'll never be able to get good parts for this Van 😔

The only possible good thing is that optical pick up sensor/ICM might be the OE Hitachi (with the Nissan part # prefix stamped on it)
I have no way of knowing, this wasn't the quality OE part that I thought I was getting, or pictured
$275 and the rotor scrapes the cap 🤬

Back it goes, I don't wanna hear Electrical items return policy BS, this isn't what I ordered and I'll charge back with my credit card if I have to 😳

Both for my Sportwagen. Getting intermittent codes for the upstream O2 sensor and left front ABS wheel speed sensor. Both purchased from FCP Euro.

Just got a big box from RockAuto.com. One tie-rod end and two drag-link ends plus a steering stabilizer for a Jeep WJ. One cooling fan motor for a Nissan Altima, and a 10 amp momentary switch to do a glow plug controller delete on a 7.3 Ford F-250.

Time to get greasy!
