1999 Ford Taurus 3.0 Vulcan 256,969
Out: Quaker State Full Synthetic High Mileage 5w30 / Microgard Select MS51516
In: Castrol Edge Euro K 5w30 / Carquest 85516 filter.

1990 Chevrolet C1500 5.7
Out: Delo 15w40 FS and various top offs / Microgard MGL51060.
In: Valvoline Maxlife SB 10w30 / Supertech ST5.*

Both vehicles had just shy of 5k miles on their oil / filter. Planning on doing a 10k interval in the Taurus.

* - Only thing my local Walmart had for a 5.7 TBI , plus I bought the only one in stock.

Plus new windshield wipers front and back and a new air filter. Then while draining was able to pull the fog light and ordered replacement bulbs.

Haven't been able to really drive the car except for short little drives as I work from home. Almost hit my yearly mark (Subaru wants every 6 months with these engines) and so I just decided to swap it out. I noticed there was still some metallic gunk on the drain plug magnet but hopefully that'll stop as I rack up a bit more miles. I wasn't able to take any photos this time around as I was a bit time constrained.

My 2021 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD 65,024 miles. 4,968 miles on oil.
Out: 5 quarts Pennzoil Platinum 0W-16

On: Toyota YZZN1

I was going to stay after work and do it but decided to do it on lunch because I really don’t feel like staying late today as we’ve been slammed so went ahead and got it done. I would have done it at home but it’s so much easier to rotate the tires on the lift and I don’t have a power tool to take off the cover underneath at home either. Also inspected my brakes and have 6mm on the front and back still the original brake pads on it. I also tested the battery and tested very good so not worried about that either despite its age. I purchased the this car back in October and this is the second oil change I did on it. Everyone tells me I should of gotten a hybrid but I get 30.3 average miles to the gallon and have to fill up like once every other week so I don’t regret buying the only gas one at all. I have been very pleased with my RAV4 and hope to get many years out of it.

Dude, my 2025 RAV4 2.5L non hybrid gets 34mpg hwy as I have a 60 mile round trip drive for work daily. You did perfectly fine in your choice of your rav4 and don’t let anyone tell you differently.

Wow we both have a 60 mile round trip commute too lol. Awesome man. Mine has gradually went up overtime. When I got it I think it was setting at 25.1 and then just went up overtime with driving regularly.
