Post your latest oil change

2018 Toyota Tacoma off-road 4x4 95594 miles

Out Mobil 1 0w40 FS and a fram extended guard filter see pics

Oil had 6 months and 3000 miles of fairly severe use. My wife would use the truck around town mostly short trips and I took it on several trips down the seashore fishing (think 300 miles loaded and fast highway and 120 miles 4x4 when 6 or 7 times. where it got alot of 4 low action churning deep sand, the sand was softer than normal this summer do to low tropical activity.

The filter had 15 months on it and about 6-7kmiles the filter element itself looked great the o ring was flaking apart. The outside was the orange material but the orange was flaking off and it was black inside. This happened outside the oil stream but first time I have seen this took a pic.

In 6.5 qts Valvoline Restore and Protect 0w20 and a Fram tough guard filter cartridge. Again a good looking element. My original plastic cartridge canister is still a solid unit.
Plan on running this for 6 mo then running Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30 this summer.

I also had the front brakes replaced done this week (been working too much) when I had it in to have the ac condenser replaced. $$$😢

If I have time I want to change front diff fluid but need to do some work.

Also I am about to Toss this vacuum pump too slow and finicky. I went ahead and pulled the drain plug.

Why didn’t you stick with the Truck and SUV? That’s one of M1s better options
Yes I had a stockpile of it but used it up
There was nothing on the shelf to re-up

So for this round I went with the high mileage only because it was the only thing wally had in single quarts for my makeup oil

I will say that even the Mobil 1 Truck and SUV was consumed at the " normal " amount per mileage as was the AC Delco ( Mobil bottled) oils

Also this is my first time buying high mileage anything .....

2017 Dodge Durango GT 3.6 V6, 85,975 miles

Out: 6 qt Valvoline Advanced FS 5w-30, Fram Endurance filter (2,643 miles)
In: 6 qt Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30, Fram Endurance filter

Valvoline was a road trip oil change done during a repair and wasn't destined to be a full OCI run, plus winter is coming so I wanted to get the better oil in now.

Did the Frankenblend in the Taurus to get rid of partial bottles in my shed and free up shelf space.

"Taurus does 5k intervals.

120,300 mi on vehicle, 5370 mi on oil
Out: Mobil 1 0w40 FS, Fram Pro 9954 filter
In: Valvoline Restore and Protect 5w30, Fram Pro 9954

Started consuming a bit of oil again since the piston soak at 70k ~.5 - 1 qt over the OCI so I figured I give the R&P a try.

2014 Ford F-150 with 3.5 EcoBoost. 156,156 miles.

OUT: 5-30 Motorcraft oil (6 qts.) & FL-500 filter
IN: 5-30 Valvoline SB oil (6 qts ) & NAPA Proformer (I think) filter. Midas did the change.

Wife put the down payment on this truck as a Christmas present for me last December..Went 5,000 miles on this oil and filter. 2 trips to Arizona, including towing a loaded U-Haul trailer. Still drove smooth with no oil burning.

Lots of driving and commuting last couple months, already due for a 5k mile OCI. Previously said I would run the Castrol EDGE Extended Performance a little longer but changed my mind... a bunch of start-stop traffic, up and down hills, etc.

2013 Lexus CT200h @ 190,000 miles
Out: Castrol EDGE Extended Performance 0w-20, Microgard Select filter
In: Mobil 1 ESP 0w-30, Microgard Select filter

Also changed swapped a Fram engine filter for a Microgard Select engine filter (after 15,000 miles).

Nice choice of the SuperTech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30.

I've been using that SuperTech High Mileage Full Synthetic 5W-30 oil as well @ 5,000 mile / 6 month OCI on 3 Honda Odysseys
that have extremely high engine temps on the cylinder heads due to the VCM being enabled and a poorly designed PCV.

Good luck - Maybe you can go another 150k miles and reach 400k+ miles.
