Used for long trips, highway use.
44 mpg, has .605 fifth gear swap, drops RPM by 1000…
2500 RPM at 70 MPH…
nice. I got a 1994 SL1 up to 190,000 miles then sold it to a friend who totaled it less than a week later. I was pissed.

It was so slow! Even with the manual it was hard work for the engine.

1999 Accord. 215k miles. 5k OCI.

Good to go!

The oil had maybe a thousand miles on it. I did a lot of hard driving this weekend up in the mountains and I wanted to change the oil. Oil still looked good. Plus I wanted a street oil in the sump as the car is now doing daily duties for the foreseeable futire

Had my mechanic do oil changes on both my clunkers today:

OUT Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30+ Wix XP H/Duty (I supplied oil and had him supply filter last change)
IN Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 + Carquest Premium Filter (I got into the Filter threads and supplied filter too this time)

2005 Ford Taurus SE about 141K Miles (about a 4400 mile interval)
OUT Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 (+1QT top off leftover Meijer 5W20 about 1K miles ago) +STP extended life (bought in Autozone oil change package last time)
IN Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30 + Carquest Premium Filter

Got a deal when Walmart was discounting the 3ct boxes of 5 qts so bought two 3packs. Mileage has been consistent with the previous fills of Kirkland 0w20 and the Toyota syn 0w20 from the dealer. Engine is noticeably quieter on this Mobil 1. Have been draining and filling 5k intervals while on the dealer complimentary 20k oil change program.

This will be the fourth straight oci on Valvoline Restore and Protect. May continue with Valvoline Restore and Protect for the foreseeable future or go with whatever is on sale going forward. Don’t see going over 5k due to the fuel dilution issues with these turbo Hondas and am planning on doing a coolant drain and fill before the winter. Just did the mtf at 80k.

Dad's 2015 Ford Escape w/ 2.5L NA Engine 111k miles

I got one more 2014-2015 vintage OG Fram Ultra XG2870A to use, I think after that I'll use the circa 2017 Amsoil 3614 equivalent I have lying around, then I have a few 3600 OG Ultras left. I have a couple 0W-40 individual quarts I got from Napa whenever they did that mail in rebate scan Bluetooth scan tool deal, probably like 5 years ago, and I had 4 Jugs of 5W-40 Mobil 1 Euro FS from when Walmart had it like $10 or $12 a few years ago, since this engine uses 6qts I didn't really wanna open 2 jugs.

Love to see the XG 2870 cut open.

I’m f you would like I have some OG titanium and ULTRA’s I’d gladly send you. PM me if interested. Have 6 CQ EP wire backed 3614’s too. Yes, I have way too many filters.

I bought an oil filter cutting tool a few weeks ago, I actually cut the filter open right after I took it off the car just to drain it out so I didn't have to jam nails under the ADBV, I took a quick few shots in the garage of it but the lighting ain't too great, but typical OG Ultra, nothing really of note, looks like it did it's job and stayed in one piece.
