Post your latest oil change

Trying to slow down the valve cover leak till I have time to replace it, may go OEM instead of aftermarket this time. Not much time to do repairs driving 9k a month

That’s a good plan. I’ve got an old v6 Tacoma that has leaky VC gaskets. Using high mileage oil has helped. If I might ask, what do you do to drive that many miles in a month?

2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid 31577 miles on vehicle
Driven to jobsite 60 miles each way 5-6 days a week. Some days I take it easy and drive 65 some days traffic is bad and slow, some days I drive 80+. Average mpg this OCI was 43.7 . It only took two months and a week to accumulate these miles.
Miles last OCI 7057 . I normally go 10k do to the service type solidly warm temps. but this was first OCI with Valvoline restore and protect.

Out Valvoline restore and protect 0w20 with a fram premium oil filter. Not going to cut it open but it appeared very serviceable.
In 4.4 qts Valvoline restore and protect 0w20 with fram. Mid grade extra guard filter.
Nothing out of the ordinary. I will Probably run this OCI to 40k miles on vehicle to get back to round numbers. or about 8500 miles on oil.

2500ish on the oil
Out: VRP 5w-30 and a MOPAR Filter
In: 5 quarts VRP and 1 quart Valvoline Max-Life, WIX filter.

The Short OCI is due to opening the top end up and changing out the rocker arms. I found some scuffing on the cams that made me concerned about metal in the oil.

The top end of this engine was very clean. I’m a 5000 mile OCI person, so it’s either that OCI or the VRP. I’m extending the OCI from here on out as I plan on getting rid of the van soon. It has a reoccurring P0302 that I can’t seem to fix. It may be a worn cylinder.

Looks good! How long have you been running VRP for? I’m on my 2nd (or 3rd?) OCI of VRP 5w-30 on my 2012 Town & Country with around 183k on the clock
