An old neighbor, Edna, just passed away at 97. A great lady. I serviced her car for years and helped with things whenever. I will miss her.
She told her daughter, "Give Jeff the car!" Her 2 daughters will split $4M, easy. Probably much more. So I'm feeling a little short changed.

Been driven 3,000 miles since I last serviced it 5.5 years ago.

I've ordered air filters. Will service trans and coolant. Car is perfect, but was dirty cuz it sat outside. Needs wax bad! I will give it to a needy family when I'm done. years ago I did the brakes and put 4 Costco Turanza rubbers on.

I also sucked out and refilled the PS fluid with Supertech Mercon V and changed the engine air filter (SuperTech 3315).

This is the second fill of Valvoline Restore and Protect. I cut open the filter and there was nothing crazy going on in there, just a little carbon in the pleats. There is a spot I can see down the filler neck that the varnish is starting to come off of. I couldn’t get my phone to focus on it, but there is definitely a little cleaning happening already.

Friend provided the parts, I just did the job.

Honorable mention:
2010 Prius, in very bad shape as a taxi
Topped off with Rislone. Ain’t my car, I don’t care. Trust me, I was mighty tempted to break my no-Lucas rule.

This is probably my last DIY oil change as I'm moving and it's not feasible to change my oil unless I did it at a Walmart/Autozone parking lot. 2005 Toyota Camry, 2.4L. 248300 ODO.

Out: Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W30/WIX 57145
In: Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage 5W30/WIX 57145

Good to see that my filter doesn't have any metal bits or carbon residue, still impressed that Valvoline Restore and Protect has noticeably made my engine run smoother.
