Post your latest oil change

Carbureted 1985 Ford GT Mustang with 5 liter roller cam Windsor, 250,000 mile original owner. Retired to pleasure use with 1,452 miles on last oil change in 2021. Motor has never been apart and never gone over 3K on an oil change. Out at 1/2 quart down of 10W-30 conventual Valvoline. Recent axle upgrade from original 2.73 ratio 7-1/2" ring gear to 8.8" axle with 3.73 ratio improved drivability significantly. Refresh the sump with 10W-30 high mileage Valvoline plus a spike of STP oil treatment. Anticipated hot idle oil pressure improved to 50 PSI at 700 RPM . Happy boy, happy boy.
So you have changed the oil on this car over 80 times? Amazing!

2013 Silverado 1500 5.3L, 87,000 miles.
2,000 miles and 3 months on oil and filter. OLM at 66%. Early OCI following dealer replacement of leaking oil cooler lines.
Out: Mobil 1 0w-40 FS + Unknown quantity of dealer bulk, ACDelco PF48.
In: 5 quarts Mobil 1 0w-40 FS (SP) + 1 quart M1 0w-40 FS (SN), Carquest Premium 84502 (Vietnam).
Did the dealership use 0w40?
I have been thinking about moving to 0w40 on my 15 5.3l?

2014 Kia Rio , 156,931 miles. 5K OCI.

Out: Supertech 10W-30 Synthetic and a Supertech MP9688 filter.

In: Valvoline Maxlife 5W-30 Semi-Synthetic and a Loop L9688 filter.

I forgot I had the loop filters (bought 2 for like $3 each.). They feel rock solid and like the OEM except a nitrile ADBV. Look forward to cutting it open this fall.

1994 Suzuki Samurai ~165,000 miles
~3000 miles 6month OCI
Out - Castrol GTX Ultraclean 15W-40, Sierra Marine oil filter.
In - Valvoline Restore & Protect 10W-40, Sierra Marine oil filter.

Despite torquing the sump drain bolt at the last change it had backed off to barely more than finger tight which is a bit of a concern.

This is my last FRAM Titanium kindly gifted by former member Rod Knock, so I've got two EaO's and then I'm into my stash of OG Ultra's, of which I have 9.
What was the viscosity at 12,000 miles? How thick did it get?

That’s incredible to go that far and not have to add any oil! Those members here that call 0w20 “water thin” need to take note here 😃
This is not a regular 0W-20. It doesn't shear, the opposite happens, it gains viscosity, it is crazy. Oh, you know already, I thought I was cool explaining to you 🤦‍♂️

I was thinking about that when I was pouring it and wondering if it was to do with CAFE or maybe VRP works better at thinner weights since some other Valvoline products are thicker. But that doesn’t really explain why Aus gets 10w-40.
