Post your latest oil change

Greetings! My first post here and I've just finished up my Spring oil changes.

2024 KIA Seltos S - 4125 miles. 2.0L MPI Engine (16v, DOHC). This is its 2nd oil change. First was at 1537. Moving now to every 6 months or 5000 whichever occurs first. 1st day Spring / Fall is the plan.
Out: Pennzoil Platinum 0w20, Wix 1334XP

2024 KIA Seltos S - 535 miles. 2.0L MPI Engine (16v, DOHC). This is its 1st oil change. Bought as NOS in Feb 2025.
Out: Factory Oil & Filter
In: Valvoline EP 5w30 (blended PP 5w30 and 0w20 - 2 to 1), Fram Pro Series FPS9688

Points of possible interest: PP 5w30 is 9.8 Kv @ 100c. Basically it's just barely a 5w30 by only 0.3 points and am pretty sure it will be a Xw20 before the next change (< 9.5 Kv @ 100c) and probably already a Xw20 due to blending. I've used PP for years but have to say comparing the Valvoline vs PP 2 to 1 Blends thus far, I like the VEP better .. quiter, smoother. I'm running PP in her Seltos and VEP in mine. Once I finish these jugs on hand, both will be running 5w30 straight out the bottle.

If anyone is interested in the 9688 filters, this seller (awdroadracer) on ebay has a few cases of 6 left.

My favorite thread here is 0w40 in everything! .. lol.
Welcome. Great first post!

Are those Fram Pro Series filters still wire-backed? Any date code on them?
I believe these are wire backed media, but there's no date code on the filter, box or case. Does have a QR code that tries to resolve to framproseries.com but evidently the site no longer exists.

2021 RAV4 hybrid XSE (or some other letters), 47K, 5.4K OCI
Out and in: 4.5 qts M1 0w16; left Toy filter for next time.
Tire rotation, set psi, fixed rear mud guard with plastic keeper. Front pads getting a little low.

Really nice vehicle. Fun fact: I was lifting the driver side and found the magnetic jack pad for the pinch weld I used during the last tire rotation. Been riding along for 15K miles. Sheesh.

2003 Pontiac Vibe GT (2ZZ-GE Toyota/Yamaha engine), 132K miles, 4.1K OCI
Out: Amazon Basics Euro 0W-40 (3.6 qt) + QS Ultimate Durability API SM 0W-20 (1 qt), Denso filter
In: Amazon Basics Euro 0W-40 (4.1qt) + Valvoline VR1 API SL 10W-30 (.5qt), Purolator TL14477 filter

As part of this service, I replaced the intake camshaft and rocker arms (OEM Toyota), and adjusted valve lash using brand new set of shims shipped from Japan.

AB Euro has 1327 PPM zinc. VR1 has 1400 PPM zinc. Hopefully it will act as a good break-in blend.

Wife traded in the 2021 CX-5 for a 2025 CX-5 Carbon Turbo a couple weeks ago. Getting the factory fill out and running a couple short intervals until she gets to 5000 miles on the vehicle. It will see 5000 mile changes from that point on and I'm going to run this thing exclusively on VRP & Mazda filters. Compared to the non-turbo 2.5 we had, it's a **** snotty daily driver with nice tip in power up on the highway at 75mph.

Out: Factory fill & filter (1471 miles)
