Wifes friends car that is going through a divorce.
This is the second oil change I have done on this car.
Out Amsoil OE 5W20
In Amsoil OE 5W20
Used a mittyvac to pump out the oil. I am7 weeks from surgury for a broken leg and completely ruptured MCL,
I left the Microguard Select oil filter on for this change. Oil and filter only had 5k miles on it.
No way was I getting under the car :):)

Just finished up: 2017 Tacoma TRD O/R; v6 manual trans. ~98,000 miles (5,000 / 4 months since the last service)
- Just because: ran a can of Liquid Molly engine flush for 20 minutes before the drain
- Put in the same thing that came out: OEM filter and 6 qts of 0w-20 TGMO
(next stop ~105k drain and fill most fluids; probably going to change from TGMO (Getting more expensive) to HPL 0w-30)

2012 Rav4 V6 at 179,698 miles. This time Pennzoil Platinum High Mileage 5W30 with a Toyota filter. 6,248 miles since the last change, and no noticeable oil consumption on the dipstick.

2001 Tundra 4.7, 2WD, 214K, 4,700 OCI, 16 months

Out: M1 Hi Mileage 5w30 + 2 qts M1 10w30 Hi Mileage, M1 301a filter
In: 5 qts M1 Hi Mileage + 1.5 qt QS 5w30 Syn, 90915-YZZD3 filter, per @Astro14

32/35 psi, WS wipers. This old truck is the best tool I own. Pretty much never seen the inside of a garage and no, it's not for sale. The neighbors would kill me anyways. But it sucks the gas...

Poor fuel economy is a small price to pay for a good reliable pickup truck. I drive a Chevy, a 2004, from a generation that I feel was GM's best for trucks, but no one outdoes Toyota and their Tundra. They knew what they were doing when they brought it to market.

Work was done at a Valvoline quick lube. She brought the car by because she had oil in her driveway. Found the old drain plug to be stripped and leaking. Oil was at add line so not low. She had the oil changed about month ago.

The reason at nearly 80 I still DIY.

2012 Toyota Corolla, Supertech 0w20 full synthetic with Microgard select filter. I've gone back and forth between 5w30 and the recommended 0w20 the last few years, I've never noticed any difference in fuel economy. I do notice the car seems to start quicker on a cold morning with the 0w20, but that might just be in my head.

You're lucky you got it out... Once a friend had a pan that needed to be replaced due to a cross-threaded, mangled plug.
