Post your latest oil change

After not being able to rustle up this thread and after posting in a related thread yesterday, I have found this thread here at least. Today, the search function worked fine. Weird that it didn't work yesterday. A glitch in the matrix, I suppose. Anyway, repost:

Miss Moneypenny got an oil and filter change at 63k miles yesterday.

Old Rotella jug for and red funnel for the old oil. An adjustable bungee strap to keep the coolant expansion tank out of the way. A 10 mm socket for the bolt that holds the expansion tank, an 8 mm Allen bit for the drain plug, a 27 mm socket for the oil filter housing. A 6" extension, two ratchets, and one breaker bar. Oil filter, o-ring, copper washer. The grey funnel is for the fresh oil. I'll ley you shiver with anxiety whether or not I used a torque wrench for the drain bolt and filter housing.

The tank has to be moved out of the way because the filter housing is in a slightly challenging position if you have adult-size hands. The oil filter housing is somewhat visible behind the coolant hose. Look inside the red circle.

Oil level was above the add line.
Also swapped spark plugs, Denso TT out and in, 90K. Worn but all even, light soot. Looked great overall.
VC gasket time as there was oil in 2 of the 4 plug wells. Front brakes before too long.

You cannot kill this car.

Smart move. Your engine would thank you if it could.

Oil change on both cars…

2002 Saturn SL2, Napa Gold 51516, four quarts Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30, half a quart Mobil 1 Racing 0W-30. Replaced the oil drain plug…

2009 Smart, Wix XP 51356, four quarts Total Quartz 9000 5W-40
($7.38 a jug Advanced Auto clearance)…
Is the clearance back on? I got all my Total back in like June or July then they bumped the price back up
