Another 22’ Ram 2500 truck 4WD with 6.7 Cummins. 25k on truck. Had only 2 oil changes; one at 13k and other at 19k. Dealer did last two; never touched factory filter. Can you say “LAZY”

Put a Mobil 1 filter on and Rotella T4 10w30 oil in. 26k on truck at the present.

In: PROVIDENCE 10w30 HDEO oil and a RTO-47 oil filter I got with work discount so cost him $8

While I was doing the brakes on my wife’s Chevy Cruze, I decided to go ahead change the oil.

2015 jeep wrangler 3.6l with 27,000 miles. in and out was 6 quarts of Redline 5w30 and a Fram endurance FE11665 the oil and filter had 4000 miles which were mostly towing a 2000 lb double pwc trailer and driving up mount Washington/around that area camping.

Alot of short tripping with this previous fill - after visually inspecting the dip stick along with the smell test , this fill had to go at the 4 month / 1,900 miles mark in this GDI engine . No specific reason for the new oil choice other than it was in my oil stash .

Friends truck, hadnt had an oil change for the past 23k miles or so and surprisingly was running fine, guided him through this oil change and told him hes liable for whatever happens to it from lack of maintenance.

Out was chocolate milk colored whatever oil WalMart Quick Lube used and a Fram filter.

In was Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w40 and a Fram XG7317.

Tell friend to change the oil every 5k. Sounded like Chocolate Contamination City drained into tht oil catch-bucket.

Half of them don’t run lol . The 90 Mazda is history now I sold that last year just haven’t updated it lol. I haven’t added my 94 Camry on that list now.

2016 Chevrolet Cruze 119,000 miles out Mobil 1 synthetic 5W30. In Kirkland 5W30 and an AC Delco filter. Change oil soon light was on and the last oil change was 9 months ago. Miles unknown on old oil. I used my MityVac to drain the oil. I am selling this car for a relative and asking $10,000 in the Sioux Fall SD area. Nice car runs and drives perfect and it's very clean but needs 1 or more tire sensors.

My daughter is visiting for the weekend and she was due for an oil change. I told her to swing by canadian tire and grab a 5L jug of whatever 5w30 FS was on sale for >$35

And oh no! its a dreaded wix xp rock catcher! Bad bad bad!

Yeah, whatever...

She doesn't always remember to do her oil so this filter might be on there a long time.
