With in the past few weeks I did the 2010 Ford Focus, The 2006 Toyota Tacoma with the 4 cyl engine the 2015 Ford F150 with the 2.7 and the 2018 F350 with the 6.2 gas engine , now all running M1 0w-40 and Super tech filters.

All in one day changed oil in both Nissan 2.5s and the Cub Cadet Kohler 22hp. The ease of DIY Fluid changes on both Nissans are wonderful.

Altima, Rogue Out: Idemitsu Fully Synthetic SP 5w30, Hengst Filters

Altima, Rogue In: Idemitsu Fully Synthetic SP 0w20, Hengst Filters. Both Hold "4.9" Qts.

Cub Cadet Out: Valvoline Daily Protection SN Plus 10w30, Kohler Filter. The plastic drain plug had developed a small leak I fixed by gently tightening the metal threads on the end with some Channel Locks.

Cub Cadet In: Motorcraft 10w30 Semi Synthetic Sp, Fram 8172 HD Filter production 2019. Obviously not a fram designed filter. Appeared to be an old style Wix. Holds 2 Qts

A few weeks ago I drained the PP 0w20 with an ST 6607 filter and installed Mobil1 0w20AFE and an oversized STP XL7317 in my daughters 2021 CX-30. The OCI was 6500 miles in about 4 1/2 months. The OM states the oil capacity as 4.8 quarts but I use the entire 5 quart jug and still don't reach the 'FULL' line on the dipstick (it's about 2/3 to 3/4 up from 'ADD')

Out: Factory fill

In: Pennzoil Platinum 0w20, OEM Subaru filter.

Votex stainless magnetic drain plug installed with the OEM style crush washer. Big undertray to remove. Something like 11 clips and 3 bolts. Pretty difficult to reinstall by yourself I imagine. Filter up top is sure handy though.

Second oil change on my PCX at 250 miles. 0.8 quarts Honda GN4 in/out. Plenty of crud on the Votex plug.

20k on truck, unknown OCI interval on last oil and filter.

2024 Silverado 3500HD 6.6L gas engine. 612 Miles 26 hrs, built on May 4th. Factory fill and filter out (cut filter open and found nothing of note other than the anti drainback valve was very flimsy) Back in, GM full synthetic 5W30 8 qts and an AC Delco UPF63R filter. I greased it a couple months ago so I skipped that part.

Friends truck, hadnt had an oil change for the past 23k miles or so and surprisingly was running fine, guided him through this oil change and told him hes liable for whatever happens to it from lack of maintenance.

Out was chocolate milk colored whatever oil WalMart Quick Lube used and a Fram filter.

In was M1 HM 10W40 and a Fram XG7317.
