Post your latest oil change

Wife's 2017 Acura MDX Elite Odo: 139500km.

Out: OEM 0W20 Full Synthetic & Fram TG7317
In: Same as above.

Duration of service: 5 months and 10500km. OLM at 40% and no fuel dilution noted. I could have left the OC a bit longer, but with DI engines, sooner the better, IMO, plus the weather was so nice to work in the garage before the winter comes in a few weeks.

Half of them don’t run lol 😂. The 90 Mazda is history now I sold that last year just haven’t updated it lol. I haven’t added my 94 Camry on that list now.
Dad probably can't run anymore either. :) I hope he remains with you for many more years.

My Dad bolted 3k miles to San Francisco in 1960. Left five of us kids to my mother, who never worked a day in her life.
He never returned to Detroit.

I just finished an oil change today. Will report on it next.

2004 Chevy Colorado Z71 4X4 3.5 Five Cylinder

Out -- Valvoline EP 5w30 - AC Delco PF61 filter
In -- Pennzoil Platinum Euro Synthetic 0w40
Oil Filter - AC Delco PF61e. 4k OCI.

Dipstick was bone dry. Used oil comprised of 3-1/2 quarts, instead of six quarts.
It's been my grandson's ride for almost three years now. I kindly told him that my oil change days on the Colroado and his Mom's Acadia XL will officially end today. Her oil dipstick was bone dry also, when I changed her oil a week or two ago.

Today's society of New Gens are something to behold. What's this country going to be like in 10-15 more years?

I'll likely be urn-ashes by then - for I turn 72 in early October.

Hot-drained 7.5 qts via drain plug into 9 qt. oil pan w/lower catch compartment, like this:

When I removed the oil pan drain plug, the hot crankcase oil came out so fast some of it fountained oil over the edge of the pan onto the floor until I centered the pan where the oil could go directly into the lower catch compartment through one or both holes (plugs removed). Ughhh!

Next time I will likely be using an oil extractor.

2024 Silverado 3500HD 6.6L gas engine. 612 Miles 26 hrs, built on May 4th. Factory fill and filter out (cut filter open and found nothing of note other than the anti drainback valve was very flimsy) Back in, GM full synthetic 5W30 8 qts and an AC Delco UPF63R filter. I greased it a couple months ago so I skipped that part.
How are you liking that 6.6?

We'll see if HPL Euro removes the "Castrol Gold" inside.
