Out with the 3590 mile Napa Platinum and EuroL Pennzoil 5w30. This run had more magnet buildup than the previous 5w40. 5w40 repeatedly keeps the drain plug magnet cleaner than API and Euro 5w30's.

Oh well, needed to clear the shelf of years of leftovers.

In with leftover ounces, pints, 1/2 pints.... and a couple full quarts along with an MP9688 filter for this 2.4GDI theta2. With the Sportage on ramps, I let the oil pan and filter mount drain for about an hour. This way, almost 6 quarts are needed for a refill.

Couple ounces of Shell X100 zddp additive... 12 ounce can treat 5 quarts. Had some from clearance long ago and added an ounce to every 5 quart jug.

About 10 ounces of leftover Lubegard Biotech. ~4 ounces were used to top off for oil consumption 1/2 way thru interval and no consumption since.

The SRT old/new 0w40's were almost full.

The 10w30 was about 1/3 full.
The 10w40 and 0w30 were 1/2 full.

And, not pictured, is about 1/2 of an ol' quart of Euro Pennzoil 0w40 in order to bring the dipstick to the optimal full level

2013 Civic LX, 145K, 4.5K OCI
Out: about 4 qts Kirkland 0w20
In: about 4 qts QS 0w20 Hi Mileage; left XG7317 for another round

I pulled 2 plugs (65K) to make sure they were not fakes. Gap was .044 and they looked perfect! For once...
Inspected left front brake; plenty of pad but heat cracked right down the middle. Pads kinda stuck; needed clean and lube. Will replace later this month.
This is my grand niece's Civic; she just graduated form the Marine Corps and is attending Community College in Oceanside near Camp Pendleton. We had a discussion on AI while playing around with her car. All good.

2003 Accord 'Spot'
267,000 Miles on the clock

Out and in - Havoline HM 5W30 and Champion COS3593A Filter

Engine still runs like a top, no smoke, no odd noises. Uses maybe a quart over the ~7500 mile OCI, although I haven't really paid super close attention to that. I'll check it and add a little every month or so when I remember.
