Post your latest oil change

Daughter's 2012 Mazda 3 Skyactiv-GS. She's home for the holidays so I decided to get the oil change done earlier than later. Currently has 174xxx km. Six month OCI and around 8000 km driven. No extra oil needed inbetween. Oil looked good. Weather was half decent for Canadian December to do the change in the garage at -5C.

I moved and changed jobs right prior to doing this OCI; My commute averages 30mph instead of 40mph now, and has been reduced to 40mins one-way. This is the lowest consumption rate I have experienced yet. Started to drive harder, and consumption picked up to something noticeable, and so I went back to my previous driving style to run out the CI. The oil level remained at the top of the dipstick up until around 2,400 miles into the OCI when I did such test. Oil came out darker than I thought it would.

Got a cut in the inner boot of a CV axle I just put on back in April.
Replaced the CV axle, then did the oil change.
Also discovered where some noise is coming from--passenger rear wheel bearing sounds to be going out.
Catch can is still catching a good bit of oil still.

*Will run for another 3500 to 4k miles for next change. I was trying to use up some left over oil from other changes. Manual calls 6.9 qts but 7 puts oil level right under full mark on dipstick. Added bottle Techron to tank and set tire PSI to 40psi.

(Edited for miles on oil @ 3500 miles)
