Haven't used RP in the last 15 years so this one is going in the Silverado. A bit peeved when they introduced a API approved version, dropped Synerlec and still priced the same. Just payin for the name when M1 or Castrol Syntec offers similar performance for less.

I can find Royal Purple HMX ( with Synerlec ) on the shelf every day @ Farm & Fleet. It's not hard to find,if you take the time to find it.

Got this less than a month ago and I've put on enough miles I figured I'd change the break in oil and put some good stuff in it and clear out the rest of the Valvoline I got on clearance a while back. Not sure what I'm gonna be using in it after this.

Not sure how many miles on the Fits oil, just know the wife said the oil light came on so it got done. She doesn't drive much so it usually comes on about once a year it needs changed.

Had a nice day so I "got the urge" to OCI.

Out : Super Tech 0w20 FS & Federated PG4476F
In : More of the same & a Fram PH4967.

Sample sent in to a lab for a UOA and will report on it ASAP.
I only ran this oil for 1,565 miles and almost 5 months.
Depending on the UOA results, I may very well run this oil for longer than 5 months, or, switch to PP but I have a feeling the UOA will look quite good.
