Chevy did extend the powertrain warranty on those cars. Did you go through the fix for oil burning?

Didn't and don't know about that! Apparently not.

Thankfully, it doesn't start to "burn" or consume oil until 2500 to 3000 miles into each OCI. Then it's a quart every 500 to 1000 miles or so. Therefore, I change the oil every 3000 miles, having to only add about half a quart before that 3K point.

No more Chevy's for me. I will probably go with a Ford next time... likely an F-150 or F-250. The Godzilla looks good!

My prior calc for cumulative hours on the oil was a little off, and the oil was darker than I anticipated--changed it earlier. I'm very excited that I figured out how to pull out most of the oil from the sump with this thing finally. Given how much came out using my oil extractor, I'll run this for 140 hours. Intend on using the filter up to 15,000 total miles.
