My daughter showed up and I looked at her abused car and she went 16000 miles since the last oil change. I guess that M-1 with a 20,000-mile synthetic filter was a good idea. I looked around for synthetic oil on sale and ended up buying this,
Chevron Havoline Smart Change Pro-DS 5W30 Full Synthetic Motor Oil, 6qt for 17.97, free shipping to my place from Walmart. Because of an earlier post, I used a fram xg3614 filter after reading about it as a replacement. It was a lot bigger than the stock filter. The Chevron oil was a really nice Gold color and looked impressive. The box oil was a first and worked well, it poured well and didn't do anything odd.

Sounds like my Stepdaughter but they were just easy miles almost all under 35 MPH Dad.

Yep . I actually put in 5.75 (5 and 24 oz of the last one.) it puts the oil right in the middle of the add - full marks. I probably should have just poured the whole thing in and it might have been on full but one of the quarts was opened. I remember I used it to send out a VOA a few months back when I found this SP rated Warren oil.
