Out Castrol Magnatec 5W-20 with a Wix filter
In Castrol Magnatec 5W-20 with an OEM Kia filter

19 Sentra
Out Castrol Magnatec 0W-20 with a Fram ToughGuard
In Castrol Magnatec 0W-20 with a Fram ToughGuard

I also did my 18 Silverado:
Out M1 AFE 0W-20 with an AC Delco filter
In Castrol Edge 0W-20 with a Wix filter

Recently picked up a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 with the 5.7L 350. 211K on the body, although, the engine was rebuilt at 120K. First oil change since I got it:

Out: Unknown oil & WIX filter
In: Valvoline Daily Protection 5W-30 & Valvoline VO-55 filter

Took it to a Valvoline Instant Oil Change shop. They did a stellar job, and with a coupon, only paid $24.00. Beauty!

It was a conventional. Wanted to use Valvoline for this ride, so, I figured I'd give it a basic dino oil for my first change, to see if it burns or leaks any. Then, go to a regular synthetic when the weather warms up.

Jiffy Lube uses pennzoil, lots of smaller shops do too

Exactly. It all comes from one tank when the truck drops it off and he puts the same stuff in all of the tanks. It made me so upset to do that to people after two weeks I walked out the door of that place and never looked back. The only way the customer would get the good oil is if they brought their own. . They had some boxed Pennzoil at one time which is why they advertise Pennzoil that other oil though nah that isn’t Pennzoil and PP was one of the”tank oils not in the boxes”

had to reused the wix filter due to the frame I got got her. The gasket on the filter ripped and spilled all the oil on the garage. Needless to say , I’m done with fram.
