GMC in my signature. 55,333 on the clock, 4,954 miles on the oil and filter.

Out: Castrol Magnatec 0w20, Bosch 3502 filter
In: Shell Rotella Gas Truck 5w30, Bosch 3502 filter.

I had some Castrol Edge 0W20 for mine and a buddy had the 5w30 RGT for his... I mentioned mine dilutes the oil and sounds like a Hemi with a lifter about to fall in the oil pan and he has a nice long commute so we traded. I will say the engine is Lexus-quiet now, no more ticking (yet).

My 2013 Civic, about 3500 miles on the OCI, 72,137 miles on the car:
Out: Super Tech 0W20 and Fram PH7317
In: Super Tech 0W20 and Fram PH 7317

I also did an oil change on my wife's 2014 Nissan Rogue, 5,400 miles on the OCI, 71,477 miles on the car:
Out: M1 0W20 and Fram TG6607
In: Super Tech 0W20 and Fram PH6607

Both cars follow a 6 month/5,000 mile OCI due to extended warranty requirements. I also rotated the tires on both and gave both a quick interior detail and wash.

Are you referring to the previous fill as an engine flush, or does this company actually make a 10W-30 engine flush? I've never heard of the company or the product. Just curious.

PT Cruiser Turbo 2.4 Convertible. 85k miles

Out: STP 10w30 STP High Mileage Synthetic about 4k miles. Fram PH3600
In: Supertech 5w30 High Mileage Synthetic. Fram PH3600

Mother's car. Runs great. Thinking of a HDEO next to help with the turbo. Last few changes have been whatever synthetic I can get for a good price.

I wonder how 1900+ ppm of moly will treat that engine.

Do you plan on doing a UOA on it?

The company is a new site sponsor. I've been using their products for a while now and have nothing but good things to say about them. The flush oil is a dedicated flush oil. It's a fully formulated oil as well (using an older CI-4 add pack) so it won't dilute the additive package. I'll be cutting the filter open soon to see how it looks after using it. It did it's job for me. It increased the cranking compression from 174 / 154 / 177 / 171 to 181 / 178 / 180 / 178.

Yes, I'm going to do a UOA at 7,500 miles and every 2,500 miles beyond that. With so much discussion here on low SAPS, I went the opposite direction. This oil is 1.85% SA, 3x the API limit.

2017 Ford Escape, 2.0L Ecoboost

Odo at change: 90,035
Out: PO's previous fill, most likely Motorcraft syn blend 5w-20
Est. Hours on oil: Unknown; 1500mi/40mph = 37.5, likely
Miles on oil: TribB Odo read 1500 before reset, so probably that

Off: Motorcraft filter
Est. Hours on filter: = 1500mi/40mph = 37.5, likely
Miles on filter: 1500, likely

In: 5qt Mobil 1 0w-40 Euro + 1/2 qt Rislone HM engine treatment (4102)
On: Fram Ultra Guard

Got a new vehicle--lost the Rav6 in an accident--and did service on it immediately after purchase.
This run should help to do some cleaning. I'll take this to 5 or 6k miles and swap it out for a handle of Mobil 1 10w-30 HM afterwards.
The old oil came out black, and the PO did mostly highway traveling on it (30k/year), but the old oil came out black, and I'd just prefer a clean slate.

I have no idea on how long Rislone remains effective. Taking the Rislone to 5-6K is not something I've ever done. My treatments never exceeded 3K.
Would be great to see a UOA of this oil in approx 5.5K.

Quest did you ever get a measurable positive result with this product. Never used it or had a need to just curious.

Huge success in quieting engines.
Minimal success in cleaning ability. Plus, failed to remove leftover Castrol GTX varnish, built-up over three years of steady GTX use in late 80s - early 90s.
Zero success in relieving cold start blue smoke.
Never used the HM version. I prefer the 32oz Rislone over the 16oz Concentrate.

On a turbocharged and direct injection engine black oil is not unusual. I do understand wanting a clean slate.
