See pic. Was in the shelf vs moving a bunch of crap to get the Kirkland out.

Next OCI: Kirkland signature synthetic 5w20.

And neither of these POS wrenches worked.

Real cars don't get more than 10 MPG. I had a 70 Corvette with an LS6 (CRR code from 70 Chevelle) Turbo400. Beautiful Hedman headers. 4 to 6 MPG. Viper hunter...
I frequent several Ford FE and Galaxie forums. Some of these people with more engine than I have claim they get 12-17 MPG out of these things. Even with the stock original 352, rebuilt trans with a 2000 stall converter and 3:1 gears running great with a well tuned carb, recurved distributor and new good exhaust system the best I ever got was 9. Now with a built 390, same trans and 3.70 gears I average 9-10 with a ton more power. Oh well lol. My dad has a 64 galaxie with a 445 stroker I built with him that I swear gets just as good of MPG with way more camshaft. Hard to tell though, that one is rarely driven.

I like how it runs with 10w30, but I have a big supply of mostly 5w20 left, and some 5w30, so I'll keep using it, but still am happy the engine seems happy with 10w30. If I wasn't concerned about springing leaks and had the bigger bucks maybe a 5w40 would be ideal in it for smoothness.

Also I was really bad and this was approximately an 8-9K OCI, after my clean valve cover pics. :( I was chasing a vacuum leak and other problems and didn't want to contaminate clean oil, so I chose to just run it longer, oh well. :/

Out: Castrol Edge 0w-30 and Mann oil filter

The material on the new Fram CH oil filter look very thin compared to other filters I've used. The glue on the end caps also looks like it was done on a Friday at 5pm. I'm sure the filter is fine, but I likely won't buy another one.
