I've added a lot of tasteful upgrades like aftermarket floor mats from Taiwan by the brand 3D, a suede front dash cover by dash designs. stainless steel mid pipe from rv6 connected to the borla stainless steel exhaust and a magnaflow cat down pipe. a front strut Tower bar from ultra racing in Malaysia and a intake with a dry flow air filter from AEM. I also have an insane maintenance ritual that I write down on pen and paper or I mark it with a felt tip marker inside the engine bay so I know when I've replaced filters, and such. well when I first got my brand new Civic back in 16, shortly after I had to borrow a black Accord sport and I just fell in love with it I had no clue I was going to be down the road getting one myself. I think the civics have more features on them for the money but I think the ride is much better. the paint and clear coat leave a little to be desired. I figured down the road I'll take it to somebody and have them repaint the front hood and bumper and then do a Modesto coating.

Previous owner (the original owner) must have run long oil changes because there was quite a bit of dirt/carbon chunks in the filter and in the bottom of the drain pan.
From the time he pulled in the driveway to the time we ran it back off the ramps was 12 minutes.

I went to a car show last year and there was a late 70's cordoba there with a framed picture of that guy sitting on the dashboard. My dad and I got quite the chuckle out of that one.

Disregard the close up of the HONDA at bottom of post . That's the TOP ( engine ) side , the PUROLATOR close up above the HONDA is the BOTTOM that collects particles and other things . Ran out of time to EDIT . :rolleyes:

Old oil is two years old, unsure of mileage. Son blew up his Equinox, so he is borrowing my DD until his “new” car is available. I had planned to tear down and rebuild this engine, but will drive this for a little bit longer, which is why I changed the oil. Oil pressure is low when hot, but still 10PSI per 1000RPM, and the fresh oil did quiet it down a bit. Rebuild will hopefully occur in June.
