Post your latest oil change

2018 kia optima ex 2.4
OCI 6mo @ 3571 miles
Out: Kirkland 5w30, OEM blue kia filter
In: M1 EP 10w30, OEM filter
Time not miles is key with this motor. Oil was black and bottom of catch pan was sooty. I used a colored catch pan this time and it was more noticable. I prefer 10w30 in summer, in winter it seems to take longer to warm up for my city driving.

I'm living in Europe.
Yearly on my 1997 Civic i put max 5000 miles.
Does i need two OCI or just one is ok?
Normal driving, city/higway 60/40.
Now I'm using Petro Canada Supreme Synthetic 5W-30 API SP ILSAC GF6, for next OCI i plan to pour YACCO GDI 5W-30 API SP ILSAC GF6.

Out: HPL No VII 5W30 Euro
In: same
Filter: Mahle OC 204
.75 quarts make-up oil

My first run with HPL. UOA sent to Blackstone. I hope to increase OCIs to 7,500 miles, then 10,000 miles if the UOAs support.

Pictures show a small amount of carbon. Note the specs at the end of my finger. Otherwise it looked good to me.

I agree on the time comment : My 2017 Hyundai Sonata 2.4L GDI engine is hard on oil . Instead of 6 months / 4,000 miles , I am trying 4 months / 3.750 miles using various synthetic 5W30 D1 / Gen 3 oils along with a Fram Ultra XG oil filter which I will leave on for two OCI's .

Annual OCI is fine, but I'd make sure that you take it out on a long drive every so often to drive at operating temp...

Second oil change on my Accent. This oil went in at 1200 miles and the car had 5119 miles on it at the time of change. Next one will be at 10k. I do mostly in town short trip driving.

Out: Redline 0w20 (Older white bottle/ blue label stuff)
OEM Hyundai filter

In: Same

This is the last of the Redline I bought a few years ago for a different vehicle. I bought 12 quarts of Mobil 1 0w20 at Sam's club a while back and that will be my next 3 oil changes.

I could've gone another month or so based on my mileage, but 5-6k seems like the max I would go. This is based on my UOA below. I mostly stick to 6 months because it ends up being before summer. Prefer 10w30 in summer too and overall, but I'll have to make due with what I have since I still have like 10 jugs of 5w20 Castrol EP I gotta use. 😬

2007 Acura TSX, mighty K24, 132K; 5.2K OCI
My sister bought this car new, after she used our 2007 for a week or so. She gave it to me after I helped her get another car. I gave it to a close friend who had gone through a sticky divorce. He will pass it on to his youngest daughter this fall as she gets her permit.

Out and In: almost 5 qts Valvoline HM 5w30 Syn. Left Honda filter for another service round.
Also rotated the tires (fronts worn on edges), plugged a nasty screw in tire, swapped air and cabin filters and we warshed her with the ONR whatever stuff. And a little Turtle Wax spray wax. 2 people make this stuff easy.

I had trouble getting more than about 3.5 quarts out with the MityVac so I pulled the plug and got another quart out.
