Fram 10050(something like that, not sure of the number) In - Microguard $6.99 filter from O'Reilly's
Running fine and uses MUCH less oil than using 0W20 in it. Not sure if it has had the re-flash or not.
Lol, thanks for that. I don't see the car often and it doesn't get treated the same as the stuff that lives here at the house (long story) but, at the same time, still want it to live a long life, and the basic stuff I get for it should be just fine. Main thing for me was slowing oil consumption since I don't see it often, and a 19 year old kid is hard to get trained on checking their oil on a regular basis. You're close. Is that the filter that comes with new plastic pin and washer? We use OEM filters at work on these.
I really like to change oil - seriously
No, the one you mention is what my Accent uses. This is a more run-of-the-mill cartridge filter. Maybe other model year Palisade use the one with the pin too, not sure.Is that the filter that comes with new plastic pin and washer? We use OEM filters at work on these.
Thank You Wemay
I’m probably thinking of filter for 2.5 engine that has flat looking gasket that slides down into groove. No, the one you mention is what my Accent uses. This is a more run-of-the-mill cartridge filter. Maybe other model year Palisade use the one with the pin too, not sure.
Coincidentally, I changed it out today. Still not planning on running it again.Went through these until half blind - are you still running the Triax …?
