Ran a can of BG EPR before draining the oil. Although not real hopeful, I'm curious to see if it will reduce the oil consumption. The engine is currently using about a quart every 3200 miles.

Suppose to be done at 114000 kms, but it's been 6 months since last change. Bringing it back to the dealership tomorrow. It has a slight oil leak from the bottom of the canister housing.

Well, the PEAK only lasted a couple hundred miles. No excuse, just wanted to run Valvoline Synthetic w/MLT. Gave the used oil to my lawn guy who was very happy to get it. Gave him a bunch of the new PEAK too.

2021 VW Jetta 1.4 TSI. OE Volkswagen/Audi 508.00 0w20 and OE Volkswagen oil filter was used. Oil was changed at 9170 miles for a total interval of exactly 4200 miles / 6 months. It appears to have used about half a quart over this interval.

Wow! It looks brand new under there. Did you steam clean it before taking pictures?

Seriously though, you did a great job keeping the engine clean, especially keeping the runs cleaned up from the horizontal filter. They can be so messy!!

Had to change it since I was doing a complete A/C Compressor job and the car was already up on stands.

I've always liked the Supertech oils but lately, $28 seems less like a bargain these days and is close enough to Castrol or other offerings.

I saw a jug of Quaker State for $22 and it met the "SAME SPECS" so why not? (Always used Quaker State in the past and zero issues.)

Decided to also try out the FRAM filter..... FIRST TIME FRAM USER!!! (WIX user for a long time!)

So we shall see!!!

Truck still doesn’t use a drop off oil and engine is silent. Being driven daily about 50 miles by my son in law. Mobil 1 5W-30 EP has been used since the truck was new and the first oil change.
